I have a very noisy cat who despite his size is incredibly loud - and persistent. Whilst living in a tiny apartment during lockdown, I also had the delightful pleasure of hearing a man with a leaf-blower come round once a week to clean the courtyard of leaves. The sound bouncing between the buildings was of course amplified by them, and what's even better (and I have footage of this) - THERE WERE NO LEAVES. NONE. But it didn't seem to bother him, to him it was "not annoying". My cat's voice doesn't bother his ears or sleeping patterns either, to him it's "not annoying".
(Might I add if I was in charge, leaf-blowers would go first, THEN we'd get around to nuclear disarmament.)
