Humans do not rise. Iff God was human, then he/ she/ it is now dead. Dead humans don't rise. Maybe it's just a story...
This song is experimental black metal: there is no straightforward riffing, and a lot of random sounds and random drumming - pure cacophony, as black metal *should be*, NOT cliched and formulaic as too many bands are.
lyrics
Maybe,
I'm thinking
maybe
he did not come back, maybe he stayed dead,
after three days he was dead,
if he was human,
that's what he did,
if he was human,
they do not rise!
He turned human and we killed him,
and he died forever,
(GOD IS DEAD!)
but they had to keep up the charade,
they had to keep rolling with the lies,
so they said he had risen,
that's why the tomb is empty,
and maybe they burnt the body and scattered the ashes
over the desert sands...
And maybe when he died,
the other guy moved in,
maybe Satan(!) took over next,
and maybe he sits on the Throne of the King of Kings now,
and maybe he's in charge (HEIL SATAN!)
of this bitter Earth,
and he's in charge of our lives -
forever.
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy Will be done.
And maybe the Pope and all his robed fools
are there to keep this secret from getting out,
maybe they're the keepers of this knowledge,
the true priests of the one true Lord
of Death(!)
of Misery(!)
and of Hate(!).
Maybe he died and never came back
maybe he died and he stayed dead,
after three days he was dead,
if he was human,
that's what he did,
if he was human,
he did not rise.
Maybe it's all lies -
Maybe it's just fucking stories
for children and idiots.
