about

Why this track never made it big on the dancefloors of Europe and indeed the rest of the world is one of the great mysteries of life. The most commercial sounding track from The Shlamozzlators, this number pays tribute to their idols from TV: The Lone Gunmen. The Gunmen, though goofy in their attire/ manners/ methods fought evil and exposed many a-villain. Inspired, The Shlamozzlators based their creative ouvre around the activities of these fictional characters, by making sure they never missed an episode, watching re-runs and videos of the guys and generally only making music when they were absolutely dead certain the crime-fighting trio were not on the air. Needless to say this left very little to no time to practice their instruments, and most of their music is shit.
Except for thistrack, their tribute to the very Gunmen, inspired by their heroes demise on The X-files. Pouring their hearts into dub and beyond, the 97 members of The Shlamozzlators created a piece of unforgettable timeless musical genius. The track also has guest appearances from the Hamubeige singers of Japan.
